Career Guidance

Career Guidance and placement Cell of the Sankara College of Nursing (Women) take a vibrant involvement in guiding students in making informed decisions about their career goals and development with an objective to create awareness among students regarding available career options and help them in identifying their career objectives.
Placement Cell serves as a link between graduating students and prospective employers. We motivate the students to identify the job opportunities suitable for them and to go through the process of placement. The cell also makes sure that the students go through the on campus and off campus interviews with least difficulties.

Activities

  • Orientation Sessions: At the beginning of each academic year, Students Induction Programme conducted to inform students about the scope of opportunities available to nursing graduates. These sessions also provide insights into the various exam patterns, eligibility criteria, and the importance of early preparation.
  • Organize Expert-Led Workshops /seminars /guest lecture for the students to improve the self-confidence and students gain insight into various career paths within nursing, including specialization areas and job opportunities.
  • By nurturing both personal and professional growth, the Career Counselling Cell empower students to achieve their full potential and confidently embark on successful careers.
